If you are awarded Supplemental Security Income (SSI), you will receive your payments on the first of the month. If awarded Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) benefits, your payment date will depend on your birthdate. If your date of birth is between the 1st and 10th, you will be paid on the second Wednesday of the month; if your date of birth is between the 11th and 20th, you will be paid on the third Wednesday of the month; and if your date of birth is between the 21st and 31st, you will be paid on the fourth Wednesday of the month. If you are awarded both SSI and SSDI, you will receive your SSI payment on the first of the month and you will receive your SSDI payment on the third of the month.
