If you are awarded Supplemental Security Income (SSI), you will receive your payments on the first of the month. If awarded Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) benefits, your payment date will depend on your birthdate. If your date of birth is between the 1^st and 10^th, you will be paid on the second Wednesday of the month; if your date of birth is between the 11^th and 20^th, you will be paid on the third Wednesday of the month; and if your date of birth is between the 21^st and 31^st, you will be paid on the fourth Wednesday of the month. If you are awarded both SSI and SSDI, you will receive your SSI payment on the first of the month and you will receive your SSDI payment on the third of the month.
